Course Description
This intensive one day course is designed for general and Colorectal surgeons familiar with laparoscopic techniques who wish to explore a minimally invasive approach to colon surgery. The program is limited to 12 surgeons to maximize the hands-on experience. As the trend in surgery continues to move toward less invasive procedures, hand access surgery will enable surgeons to aggressively adopt minimally invasive approaches for traditional open procedures. These techniques will allow the surgeon to combine speed and precision with the patient outcomes of minimally invasive surgery
